Kelowna Interior Painters

Commercial painting project in downtown Kelowna. Paint all interior walls, wood paneling, doors, door frames and crown molding.

All pre-existing holes in walls filled with Drydex spackling compound, then sanded with 120 grit sandpaper to provide a smooth finish. Dust and debris vacuumed upon completion of prep prior to painting to ensure cleanliness around the job site.

Test patches done by Production Manager prior to job start to ensure customer colour match satisfaction. Drop sheets used in all working areas to protect floor and furniture. All drywalls received 2 coats of Cloverdale Super 2 Acrylic Eggshell paint to ensure great durability and washability. The wood crown molding and wood paneling was first sanded to open up the “pores” of the wood to allow better adhesion then followed up with an odourless stain blocking primer as the undercoat. Two top coats of Cloverdale Super 2 Acrylic Eggshell paint was  applied.

The doors and door frames were painted with Cloverdale Ecologic Eggshell paint, Cloverdales’ top interior product line provides a nice strong finish. Product was applied using 15mm rollers, 2-1/2 inch angular brushes and 6mm mini rollers.
